Just a delightful book for the young ones in your life. In addition to the rhyming which always enhances a book for the younger ones, the illustrations are bright, colorful and well done. They will hold the attention of the little ones when you are reading it.One thing in addition to the text itself is the element of nature which abounds. A blossoming Dogwood tree, purple lilac, and a cranberry bog are shown in the text. There is also a garter snake, wood turtle, a Spadefoot Toad, and a Whippoorwill.. All of these are most educational for the kids and the parents can explain them as they read the book.The author has also included 3 real pictures hidden in the book which the young ones can search for when done reading. The answers are at the end. If one wants to sing along, there are also words to sing along to!Written for ages 3 - 6 and P - 3.Most highly recommended.
