This has been one of my favorite cookbooks for years, but it went out of print. I made copies for my 4 kids because we liked so many of the recipes. We make the potato soup and corn pudding a lot. Now that this cookbook is in print again, I gave them all a nice copy for Christmas.

I love this little cookbook. It was a replacement for a lost one that I had bought while travelling in Pennsylvania years ago. My family roots are Penn "Dutch", so it's fun to compare family recipes with these, and to learn new ones too.

I love the subject, the descriptions are more for the advanced baker, the recipies presupposes that the baker has some experience. The kindle version just runs the information in a scroll form so that you can have the title of a recipe on the bottom of a page and the recipe on the following pages. The same for pictures of the dishes, in the scroll format I wasn't sure what some of the pictures were depicting. A little editing would have made this a five star book.

I love this cookbook.

Being of Pennsylvania Dutch heritage I found this cookbook lacking. It is a good book to get you started though

It looks good although I really didn't get to read it because it was a gift for a visitor from Germany

Not quite what I was looking for.
